DigiBooths Privacy Policy

At DigiBooths, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data collected through our photo booth and digital activation services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information to give peace of mind to both event organizers and their guests.

1. Information We Collect

When guests interact with our booths or digital services, we may collect:

  • Photos, videos, GIFs, and other media created during the activation.

  • Optional guest information such as name, email address, or phone number, when provided to receive media, participate in contests, or request follow-up communication.

  • Event-related data, including session details, customization preferences, and technical information such as timestamps or booth usage logs.

Anonymous Data Collection

Upon request from the event organizer, DigiBooths can configure activations so that no personally identifiable information is collected. In this mode, guests can participate and create content anonymously while still receiving access to their media.

Guest Awareness & Disclaimers

If an event organizer requests that guest data (such as emails or phone numbers) be shared with them, DigiBooths will always provide a clear disclaimer or notice to guests before they use the booth. This ensures guests understand what information is being collected and how it will be shared.

2. How We Use Information

We only use collected data to support the agreed-upon event services, including:

  • Delivering media content to guests.

  • Communicating with clients about event details, setup, and support.

  • Providing branded event content or analytics to the event organizer.

  • Improving and ensuring the quality of our services.

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose personal information, including phone numbers, to third parties or affiliates for marketing or lead generation purposes.

3. Text Messaging Consent

When guests or clients voluntarily provide a mobile phone number, DigiBooths and its affiliated brands (including DigiGroup Entertainment and Pittsburgh Digital DJs) may use that number to send text messages (SMS or MMS) related to:

  • Booking confirmations and event coordination.

  • Delivery of photo or video links.

  • Customer service or technical support.

By providing a mobile number, individuals consent to receive such communications from our team. Message and data rates may apply. Guests and clients may opt out of receiving texts at any time by replying “STOP” to any message or by contacting us directly at [email protected].

Mobile Information Sharing Policy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

 

4. Data Security

  • All data is transmitted over encrypted (SSL/HTTPS) connections.

  • Media and personal information are stored on secure servers with restricted access.

  • Event galleries are password-protected and accessible only to those with the direct link.

  • Galleries are not publicly listed or indexed unless specifically requested by the client.

Our systems adhere to GDPR standards for responsible and transparent data handling.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Guest data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill contracted services.

  • Event galleries may remain accessible for up to two (2) years after the event.

  • By default, media is archived after 30 days unless a longer duration is agreed upon with the client.

  • Clients may request shorter or longer retention periods within the 2-year limit.

  • Guests may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting us.

6. Guest Rights

Guests have the right to:

  • Request access to their personal data.

  • Request corrections or deletion of their data.

  • Withdraw consent for use of their media.

  • Participate in events without providing personal details, if anonymous mode has been enabled.

7. Sharing Data with Clients

All event content and related data are shared only with the event organizer (our client).
For example, if an event is hosted on behalf of a brand, that brand will receive access to the content created at their activation.

8. Compliance

Our services are designed to meet the standards of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and other applicable privacy and communications laws, including U.S. A2P 10DLC and TCPA text messaging regulations.
We continuously monitor and update our practices to ensure the highest level of data protection and compliance.
